The pace of our life had gone through an enormous transformation in the last twenty years. We have never been reachable before 24/7, which is, of course, a convenience, but also pressure. We are expected to answer emails and messages in a glimpse of a second and take important decisions without any decision-fatigue syndrome. However, it is more to that, our life has become highly competitive, and our biggest competitor has become AI. Competition is, in fact, healthy, challenges us, makes us more ambitious, determined: “Necessity is the mother of invention!” But what if you feel like “your battery doesn’t last as long as it should?”
EAT AS YOUR BRAIN DEPENDS ON IT
What gives us energy is, by no doubt, what we eat. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, how genius you could be, or how determined you are if your biology is not in synchrony. Those qualities would be highly compromised if your nutrition intake doesn’t allow them to “shine through.” Food can not make us directly smarter, but it can allow our brain to “vibrate on high-frequency levels” or do exactly the opposite!
There is no more time to waste in “brain fog episodes,” decision- fatigue,” or ADD-like symptoms, which were considered “normal” a few decades ago. Adequate nutrition designed for your individual needs and goals is key to a successful, thriving life. Unfortunately, so far, we are not taught in school how important it is what we put in our mouths on day to day basis, how food impacts epigenetics (switching on and off genes), neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to form and reorganize synaptic connections) and neurogenesis (the process by which new neurons are formed in the brain). You can continue eating as your parents taught you, but they didn’t feel the energy pressure of 2021, they didn’t fear becoming replaceable by machine, neither their brain was expected to process as much information as we are now. It is silly to incorporate the same living habits from the past and expect different results in the NOW.
THE MYTH OF ONE SIZE FITS ALL
Many “trendy diets” promise not only weight loss but brain clarity, more energy, better sleep, and even anti-aging results. All those claims are feasible; however, biological individuality is what matters the most and what should be directly addressed should you desire to accomplish such success.
