The truth of the matter is to see results from exercising takes weeks, even months sometimes. However, after a workout, there is an immediate boost effect: we feel more alluring, younger, cleaner, happier, and even smarter. Lots to gain from thirty minutes of sweat!
What exactly happens when you break a sweat?
–You increase endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline, and endocannabinoid: these are all brain chemicals associated with feeling confident, happy, capable, and feeling less anxiety and stress and even less physical pain.
–You change your gut microbiome for the better: increase in the number of beneficial microbial species and enriched microbial diversity as well as enhanced short-chain fatty acid synthesis and carbohydrate metabolism.
–You eliminate toxins through sweating: exercise assists the lungs, kidneys, immune system, and intestines in becoming more efficient at naturally detoxifying the body.
-You boost your brain activities: exercise regulates epigenetic changes in the hippocampus — significant learning and memory centre in the brain. As blood flow increases, your brain is exposed to more oxygen and nutrients. Exercise also induces the release of beneficial proteins in the brain. These nourishing proteins keep brain cells (also known as neurons) healthy and promote new neurons’ growth. Neurons are the functional building blocks of the brain.
I personally can’t spend one day without physical activity. It’s what keeps me young, not only on the outside but even more on the inside.
